| jamie try the strathern inn on the casino/restuarant side they could be interested in holding poker there,,we need more venues rather than the one blue dog,,im not the only player refusing to play at the one blue dog either | ||

| The Strathern has already been approached and they may decide to take it up. We don't want to pester them too much otherwise they may say no and there goes another venue down the tubes. | ||

| Replacing the Waikwi. The strathern is ready to get sunday afternoon poker back up and running. We need a gauge on numbers. probably get a start in about 2 weeks. | ||

| I dont see why people would think that refusing to play at the One Blue Dog is going to help get more venues to accept the Kiwi Poker League. If anything it is going to hinder the ability for other pubs, as the numbers will not be intising enough. If you realy want to have more venues in Invercargill i think that everyone should go out and support the one blue dog so that other pubs can see exactly how succesful the Kiw Poker League can be and then in turn will be more likely to run poker at there establishments. | ||

| also i feel that there isnt really that many people refusing to play at the one blue dog. And by mr hellraisers lack of response to the questions why, i dont think he has any proof of this at all either. I know i havnt played there lately not because i dont want to play there but rather because i have other more important comitments. | ||

| Well the Strathern is all go for 3pm on Sunday the 14th December. So lets all get behind it and support them that way we can have 2 great venues to play at. This is a trial run to see what numbers are willing to play if they don't get the numbers they wont continue with it so lets get out there and support it. | ||

| no way will i ever play,at the one blue dog again,i have no problems with people smoking pot in their own house,,but when a businesss lets it happen in a upstairs pub in a room,,the whole time i was there was the stench of weed, i have my morals and there good enough to wait for a new venue | ||
