We’re a New Zealand based, professionally organised league. Registration is free and there are events held at local bars and pubs throughout New Zealand each week.

Happy New year! Kiwi Poker league 2009!

A few things to know.. Dunedin venues, The kensignton will be the first to startt onn Thursday the 8th!The United Services Club, Heff's and The Commercial will be starting again on the 13th 14th and 15th of January.)

Also One Blue Dog will not be running poker on Friday December 26 or Friday Jan 2nd. They will resume on Friday Jan 9th. and the Stathern Inn will start on Sunday the 18th of January at 3pm

Another thing to note is, because of this time of the year our next final will be held at the start of February and I will let the top 5 from each venue attend because it will be a slightly longer season.(any questions email me)

We are still going to Sydney, There is still at least $20,000 up for grabs, but now if you win the tournament over in Sydney as well as the cash you will win entry to Sydney's APPT Grand Final in December (entry is worth $6300AUD and first place prize is $1,000,000AUD guaranteed!) * Every time you make a final table you will receive points

* The top 3 point scorers from each venue at our cut off date will receive a ticket to our monthly regional final.

* When you win the KPL regional final, we will fly you to Sydney where you will play for your share of $45,000.00 and an APPT ticket at Star City Casino.(Tournament prize pool is based on 260 players)

We have started poker in Twizel!, so make sure you tell your mates to head along!
