KPL holds the right to refuse membership from any person at its own discretion. 2. KPL sometimes shares membership with companies that its associated with. 3. Registration to the KPL is required by all participants and is free of charge. 4. Participants must be 18 years of age or older to register. 5. Photo ID and membership card must be provided to participate in any KPL event. 6. No form of fee, charge, rake, commission or purchase is required to participate in any KPL event. 7. At KPL events the game played is ‘No limit Texas Hold’em Poker.’ 8. Standard No limit Texas Hold’em rules are in play at all KPL events, to view these rules you may ask the tournament host or rules can be found on our website. 9. All KPL events are ‘self dealt’, meaning the player with the ‘dealer button’ is required to deal. 10. All KPL events are approximately 2-3 hours in length unless stated other wise. 11. Chips used at KPL events have no monetary value or otherwise and cannot be exchanged for cash or any currency as prohibited by law. 12. Any participant caught colluding, cheating or behaving inappropriately as deemed by the tournament host may be disqualified from the league and excluded from future participation in KPL events. 13. Prizes awarded at KPL events have no monetary value or otherwise and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. 14. Some major prizes awarded may require the winner to be 20 or 21 years of age. Alternate arrangements between KPL management and the winner will be organized and agreed upon. 15. Members agree that the KPL has the right to as major sponsor of the winner for marketing and promotional purposes for a period of 3 (three) years from date of winning our major prize at no cost to
the KPL. 16. KPL members agree to be photographed whilst they
are participating in any KPL event held at any authorized venue
and agree to the publication of those photographs in various
forms of media, including but not limited to, flyers, brochures,
the internet, newspapers, magazines etc. and agree to waive
any rights they may have in that regard. 17 Any or part thereof
of these rules may change without notice. please check our
website for current rules at www.kiwipokerleague.com or ask
your tournament host to view a printed copy. 18. All rulings and
decisions are left solely with the tournament host. They will settle
all disputes and their decision is final. Their decision will be made
in keeping the best interest of all KPL members in mind.
